Smethport – Alice L. Ford, 90, of Smethport, passed away Friday (August 7, 2026) at Amaryllis Nursing & Rehab Ctr., Smethport.

She was born June 9, 1936 in Olean, NY, the daughter of Nelson and Beulah (Decker) Stickles. In 1953, she married Harley E. Ford, who died in 2007.

Alice was a housewife tending to the needs of her family.

She is survived by:

Two daughters: Valerie Radtke of Smethport, PA and Lynne Taylor of York, PA

Five grandchildren: Jason Radtke, Brian Holes, Richard Holes, Grant Taylor and Allison Taylor

Many great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren

In addition to her parents and husband, Alice was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Ann Ford, and a grandson, Michael Radtke.

In keeping with Alice’s wishes, there will be no services. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Smethport.
