If your McKean County organization has been looking for a way to fund a new project or enhance an existing program, consider applying for a Women’s Giving Circle (WGC) grant.

Women’s Giving Circle, a project of the McKean County Community Foundation (MCCF), is pleased to announce that grant applications for the 2026 granting cycle are now available. Applications must be submitted by September 23, 2026, and grant awards will be presented at the group’s annual meeting in November.

All nonprofit organizations, municipalities, schools, and churches serving the public in McKean County are eligible to apply for funding. Grants may be awarded for start-up initiatives, new projects, or enhancements to existing programs. Projects must enhance the quality of life for families in McKean County.

The maximum grant award is $2,000. The application is now online and available through the MCCF website at www.mckeancountyfoundation.org.  The new process is designed to be simple and accessible. Organizations needing assistance with the application process are encouraged to contact the Community Foundation at 814-834-2125.

Since its first granting cycle in 2020, Women’s Giving Circle has awarded more than $49,000 in grants throughout the community. The organization brings together women from diverse backgrounds who combine their charitable contributions to strengthen McKean County through the power of collective giving.
