Dorothy I. Niver, 93, of Bradford

Dorothy I. Niver, 93, of Bradford, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2026, at her grandson Roy Collins residence.
Born September 26, 1932, in Salamanca, NY, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Lola (Boothe) Hinman. She attended Salamanca Schools.
On October 4, 1952, she married Roland Lewis Niver, who passed away on April 19, 1989.
Dorothy worked at Corning for 20 years and then Zippo for 29 years.
She was a member of the First Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed time spent at the Senior Center in Bradford and Mt. Jewett, doing word search puzzles, reading, stamped cross stitch, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are four daughters, Marilyn Compton, of Mt. Jewett, Lois Ann Niver, of Mt. Jewett, Trudy Lynn (Robert) Bowser, of Roulette, and Tawnee Sue Collins, of Friendship, NY, 28 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Roland, two sons, Danny Niver and Greg Niver, two brothers, Robert Hinman and Richard Hinman, twin grandchildren, Shane Niver and Shayla Niver, one granddaughter, Stacey Good, and one son-in-law, Dean Good.
Family will receive friends on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on the First Wesleyan Church, where at 2:00 pm funeral services will be held with Rev. Terri Niver, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
