Gregory A. Taylor, 77, Of Bradford

Gregory A. Taylor, 77, of Bradford, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026 at his home.
He was born on May 6, 1949 in Olean, NY, the son of the late Charles Taylor and Norma Hamilton.
He was a 1968 graduate of the Bradford Area High School.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran who served during the Vietnam War.
On April 13, 1973 in the Bolivar Drive Baptist Church; he married Gail L. Brown who survives.
He was employed by the City of Bradford for thirty-eight and a half years; retiring on January 13, 2012 as the Refuse Department Foreman.
He was a member of the Teamsters Local #110. He enjoyed working on vehicles in his younger years and he was a talented woodworker. He was also an avid Buffalo Bills and NASCAR fan.
In addition to his wife of fifty-three years, Gail Taylor of Bradford; he is also survived by one daughter, Christine (Megon Windsor) Priest of Bradford; two sons, James Taylor of Bradford and Mark (Heather) Peace of Leesburg, FL; two sisters, Carol Bradish and Deborah Taylor both of Bradford; twelve grandchildren, Austin, Cody, Kierstin, Cameron, Blake, Gage, Jesse, Sierra, Ian, Xadra, Mark and Shania and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by one son, Gregory Jackson, two brothers, Richard and Gary Taylor and two sisters, Linda Kohler and Karen Modica.
Graveside services will be held in McKean Memorial Park on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park, Lafayette.
Memorial contributions in his memory can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
