Dorothy C. OUTMAN, 81, of Westfield, PA, died Sunday, April 19, 2026 in UPMC Wellsboro.  

Born February 10, 1945, in Brookfield, she was the daughter of Merrill Howard and Louise Ella Knight Burdick.  In 1983, in Westfield, she married Russell Gene Outman, who predeceased her on February 27, 2026.  

She was employed by Long Horn Restaurant, Burdick’s Pizza, Seal’s Lumber Co., Home Comfort Restaurant, and Westfield Tanning Company.  Dorothy was active in bowling leagues for many years.  She and Russell enjoyed going to yard sales. 

Surviving are: two daughters, Darcy (Tracy) Atwell of Westfield and Darlene (Gene) Mead of Knoxville; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons; three brothers, Kelly (Mitzi) Burdick of Sabinsville, Kent (Tammy) Burdick of Knoxville, and Kevin (Gina) Burdick of Westfield; nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, M. Duane Burdick.

The family will remember Dorothy privately.  Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
