UPMC Pain Medicine Expands Access To Wellsboro

Wellsboro, Pa., April 15, 2026 – UPMC Pain Medicine is strengthening local availability of specialized pain management services in Tioga County, with Pawan Solanki, M.D., now seeing patients at 15 Meade St. in Wellsboro.
“Expanding specialized pain management into our rural communities is our way of investing in the community — not just by bringing new treatments to a facility, but by restoring dignity, productivity, and quality of life to patients who have too long lived with debilitating discomfort,” said Ron Reynolds, president, UPMC Cole and UPMC Wellsboro. “By creating stronger access to care and providing expert services locally, we are empowering our neighbors to receive high‑quality, comprehensive treatment close to home, ultimately supporting the long‑term well‑being of our region.”
Dr. Solanki is dual board-certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine and offers comprehensive interventional pain management care, along with anesthesiology services. He focuses on evidence-based, minimally invasive treatments designed to reduce pain, restore function, and improve patients’ quality of life through individualized care plans.
