March 2026 did not disappoint those who think March weather is like a Model T Ford. Just enough spring to make your butt ache. Most days were cold, wet, and windy too.

This year, we received 5.21″ of rain and melted precipitation.  Last year, we received 2.50″ of rain and melted precipitation. 

This year we received 4″ of snow, and last year the same amount.

Pine Creek is running full and looks very healthy.  

Of course, the heavy rain is causing the flowers to grow, and the grass is growing too. I know that makes the lawn mowers very happy.  Get those tractors out and cranked up.

I have been spending some time in Wellsboro at The Country Terrace.  No, it is not a resort!! While I am there, my daughter, Alyson, is doing the daily observations. I appreciate her excellent coverage. Between the two of us, we will keep things covered.
