Joan C. Smith, age 83, of Little Marsh, PA passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at the Green Home in Wellsboro. 

Born January 13, 1940 in West New York, NJ, she was the only child of the late Thurston and Jennie (Hankins) Duncan.  Joan married Allen B. Smith, Jr. and they shared 55 years together until his passing in 2018. 

She loved to spend time with her granddaughters. 

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Page of Little Marsh and two granddaughters, Jennifer Page of Los Angeles, CA and Jessica Page of Hardwick, NJ. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen. 

Family will receive friends at Kenyon Funeral Home, 214 W. Main St., Elkland on Friday, February 3rd from 1:00 – 2:00 PM.  A graveside service will be held immediately following in Wormer Hill Cemetery with Rev. Larry O’Dell officiating. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Chatham Township Volunteer Fire Company, 1575 Blair Creek Rd., Westfield, PA 16950.
