GLOW and Christmas in a Small Town – Galeton celebrated GLOW (Galeton Lights on the Water) and Christmas in a Small Town Saturday evening.  The park decorations and lights were a joint effort by the Galeton Chamber of Commerce, The Galeton Library, Galeton Area elementary school students, and Galeton Parks and Recreation. 

Santa was seen entering the band house to await the arrival of children to have photos taken and to have them write letters as to their wishes for Christmas.   Spectators in the park as well as vehicles lining Germania Street and Main Street watched the display of fireworks. 

As seen in photo, the night sparkled with the park lights and the Galeton Fireworks Committee again lit up the skies and Berger Lake for the celebration to start the holiday season.  The Galeton Area Chamber of Commerce sends a heartfelt thank you to the fireworks committee for continuing this tradition.  Photo by Andy Lychalk, Jr.
