Albert Richard Pavoni Jr., 85, of Port Allegany, formerly of Philadelphia, PA

Albert Richard Pavoni Jr., 85, of Port Allegany, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away Monday (Oct. 20, 2025) at his residence.
He was born Jan. 3, 1940, in Philadelphia, the son of Albert Sr. and Antoinette Tabasco Pavoni. On May 2, 1960, in Philadelphia, he married Mary Anne Fanty, who survives.
Al was a graduate of South Philly High School in Philadelphia and attended barber school.
Mr. Pavoni was a self-employed barber for many years, inheriting Al’s Barber Shop from his father and operating it until his retirement. He was “Forever our Superman.”
He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Louis (Sandra) Pavoni of Port Allegany, Kirk (Gina) Pavoni of Sicklerville, N.J, Richard (Tamara) Pavoni of Havertown and Denise (George) Sazan of North Bergen, N.J.; grandchildren Richard (Gina) Pavoni II, Kirk (Chelsea) Pavoni Jr., Rocco (Lisa) Pavoni, Mario (Amanda) Pavoni, Lauren (Maddy) Abruzzese, Nicole Abruzzese, Louis (Ciarra) Pavoni Jr., Nikko Pavoni, Maximus Pavoni and Antoinette Pavoni; step-grandchildren Danny Velasquez, Alexzandra Velasquez, Anthony Menaker and Jonathan Menaker; great-grandchildren Ava, Mia, Alyvia, Mario, Bria, Louis, Luciano, Gia, Jaxon, Natalia, Sofia, Nova and Liam; one sister, Marilyn Pavoni of Philadelphia; a brother-in-law, Louis Fanty of Port Allegany; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Al was preceded in death by a brother, Philip “GiGi” Tabasco.
There will be no visitation or services at this time. Services will be scheduled at a later date and will be announced.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
