Port Allegany – Louis N. Fanty, 83, of Port Allegany, passed away on Tuesday (October 21, 2025) at UPMC-Cole, Coudersport.

He was born December 22, 1941 in Philadelphia, the son of Nicholas and Erminie (Rossi) Fanty. On Feb. 6, 1987,  in Norwood, PA,  he married Darlene Blythe, who preceded him in death.

Mr. Fanty was a Carpenter, employed by Carpenters Union Local 1050 of Philadelphia, PA.

Mr. Fanty enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by one son; Nicholas (Karen) Fanty of Mesa, AZ and one daughter; Gina (Robert) McLoughlin of Philadelphia.

Five grandchildren; Regina Fanty of Cleveland OH, Nicholas (Whitney Vera) Fanty, of Gilbert AZ., Natalie (Mason) Cummings of Olive Branch, MS, Justin (Staphanie) McLoughlin and Robert (Melissa) McLoughlin both of Philadelphia.            .

Four great grandchildren; Noah, Blair, Zoey, and Justin, Jr.

Step-children; Dawn (Robert) Walker and Michael Blythe both of Delaware County.

Step-great grandchild; Brendan Wlaker

One Sister Mary Anne Pavoni of Port Allegany

Louis was uncle to Louis (Sandra) Pavoni of Port Allegany, Kirk (Gina) Pavoni of Sicklerville NY, Richard (Tamara) Pavoni of Havertown, PA amd Denise (George) Sazan of North Bergen, NJ.

And great uncle to Louis (Ciarra) Pavoni and Nicole Abruzzese.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and brother-in-law, Albert Pavoni

There will be no visitation or services at this time. Services will be sheduled at a later date and time.
