Potter County Artisan Center Hosts Autumnal Open House
Coudersport, PA — The Potter County Artisan Center invites the public to celebrate the season at its Autumnal Open House on Saturday, October 25, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Guests can enjoy an afternoon of live music by local musician Dan Butler, along with cider, donuts, and other fall refreshments. Artisan Center member Catherine Snyder, a skilled basket weaver, will present a live weaving demonstration, showcasing her craftsmanship and traditional techniques. Artisan Center members Bill Roberston, author of Pennsylvania Strange, Fear is Forever and Ghosts Revisited and Jim Baumgrantz, author of Pa Wilds Murders, Volume I and II will be available to discuss and sign their books.
In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for an original photograph by member and award-winning photographer Curt Weinhold.
“We’re excited to welcome the community to enjoy an afternoon of local art, music, and fall flavors,” said Carol Jackson, Center Coordinator. Laurie Shear, Center Co-Coordinator, added, “It’s a wonderful way to connect with our artisans and find unique, handcrafted gifts for the holiday season.”
The Potter County Artisan Center features a wide selection of locally made art, crafts, and specialty items. Visitors are encouraged to snack, shop, and support local artisans during the event.
