Sizerville State Park Environmental Education Programs October 25th

Description: Owls, bats, and spiders – oh my! Come out to Sizerville State Park for this 2-in-1 event featuring Owls & Halloween!
Join certified bird bander, David Hauber, and his wife, Fay, as they attempt to band Northern Saw-whet Owls right here in Sizerville State Park! We will have a short presentation on PA owls, followed by instructions on what to do and expect during the bird banding demonstration. Wear sturdy shoes since we will be walking on trails, and feel free to bring a water bottle, snacks, flashlights, and lots of layers!
There will also be some Halloween-themed games and festivities available after the owl presentation – costumes are encouraged!
