Rodney L. “Rod” Van Pelt, 68, of Hebron, passed away in his home with his loving family and furbabies by his side on Saturday, October 22, 2022, after a short illness.

Family and friends may call from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday and from noon to 1pm on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, 118 South Union Street, Shinglehouse, where funeral services will follow at 1pm, with Pastor Fred Kemp of Potter County Baptist Church, Shinglehouse, officiating. 

Rod’s family has entrusted his care to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
