Alfred State College Candy Class Program: Join us at the library on Thursday, August 7th, at 2:00 pm for a Candy Glass science program by Alfred State College! Bloomsburg Children’s Museum: Who Stole the Cookie?: The Bloomsburg Children’s Museum is back with another program at the library this month! Join us on Saturday, August 9th, at 2:00 pm to learn forensic techniques and solve the mystery of who stole the cookie. This program is for ages 5-17. Limited seating is available. Adult Macrame Class: Join us at the library on Tuesday, August 19th at 4:00 pm for an Adult Macrame Class! In this class, attendees will learn how to make a hanging flower pot holder! Limited seating is available. Please call or stop in to sign up! 814-697-6691.

Diamond Art: Join us at the library on Saturday, August 23rd, at noon for a Diamond Art Class! The project for this month is a bookmark. Limited seating is available. Please call or stop in to sign up! 814-697-6691.

Daycare Storyhour: *There will be no story hour on Friday, August 29th.* The library will have a story hour on Friday mornings starting at 10:00 am for any children aged 0-5. Please call or stop in at the library with any questions! 814-697-6691.

Homeschool Hangout:  *We are taking a break for June, July, and August. We will meet again on September 3rd.* On the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month, we will have a Homeschool Hangout starting at 1:00 pm. Our goal for this program is to give homeschool families in the area a chance to get together to see what other families are learning, incorporate the library into some of those lessons, and have fun.

The Book Discussion Group meets at the library on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 10:30 am. The date for this month is August 14th. All are invited to participate. Books are provided by the Potter-Tioga Library System.

Stitch Together: Do you enjoy knitting, crocheting, needlework,  and chatting while you work? (Or chatting and not getting much of your project done?) Join us at the library on Thursdays and Saturdays starting at 1:30 pm. The dates for this month are Saturday, August 2nd & 16th.

Board of Directors Meeting: The monthly board meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 1:00 pm. The date for this month is Wednesday, August 20th, at 1:00 pm. This is a date change for this month. The public is encouraged to attend.
