THE PUBLIC IS INVITED TO ATTEND THE SENIOR EXPO AND POTTER COUNTY SENIOR CENTER’S COUNTY WIDE GET-TOGETHER AT COUDERSPORT ARBORETUM ON JULY 21ST
The public is invited to attend a SENIOR EXPO AND POTTER COUNTY SENIOR CENTER’S COUNTY WIDE GET-TOGETHER to be held at the Coudersport Arboretum located at 201 S West Street, Coudersport, on Monday, July 21st from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. In the event of rain, the event will be held in the Gunzburger County Office Building gymnasium located at 1 North Main Street. Enter at the rear of the building. The SENIOR EXPO is sponsored by the Coudersport Arboretum Association and in collaboration with Potter County Human Services Area Agency on Aging.
The Potter County Senior Center’s County Wide Get-together will again join the Senior Expo. Participants from the Coudersport, Galeton, Ulysses and Oswayo Valley Senior Centers will attend to visit the vendor displays, enjoy morning refreshments, a hot dog lunch and participate in games and activities. Bingo will be held from 11 a.m. until noon. Live Music will be from noon – 2 p.m.
Various agencies and businesses will set up tables displaying their services and products that assist older adults. No political campaign set-ups will be featured. To date, the following vendors have signed up: Potter County Human Services Area Agency on Aging, Potter County Senior Centers, Potter County Ombudsman Program, Farm Market Nutrition Program checks will be available, Silver Maples, M & T Associates, UPMC Senior Communities, UPMC Home Health & Hospice, UPMC Physician Referral Services, UPMC For Life, State Rep. Martin Causer, State Senator Cris Dush, ATA, Arcadia Home Care, Summit Legal Aid, PCHS Drug & Alcohol, A Way Out, Visit Potter-Tioga, Olney-Foust Funeral Home, Fickinger Funeral Home, Virgil Howard Funeral Home, Northern PA Regional College, State Health Center, Integrated Family Hearing, Sweden Valley Manor, Potter County Ed Council, Volunteers That Care, SVUM Church, Age In Place, Veteran’s Food Share Program. More Vendors are anticipated.
Vendors will set up along the paths that meander through the beautiful memorial Arboretum displaying a variety of flowers, trees and bushes on the historic C&PA railroad grounds. Stroll along the Honor Walk bricks inscribed in memory or tribute to loved ones and visit the Veteran’s Honor Wall while visiting vendor’s tables.
There are plenty of memorial benches throughout the Arboretum to relax and enjoy the day. Sign up for door prizes and lunch is sponsored by State Rep. Martin Causer and State Senator Cris Dush.
The Coudersport Arboretum Association is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization. The Arboretum is maintained by volunteers, donations and grants.
