Esther M. Auteri, 94, of Bradford, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025 at her home.

She was born on October 19, 1930 in Lewis Run; a daughter of the late Noey and Mary Zamberlan Franco.

She was a 1948 graduate of the former St. Bernard High School.

On April 11, 1959 in the former Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church she married Joseph Auteri who preceded her in death on January 10, 2018.

She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and she enjoyed spending “porch time” with her niece, Diane.  Those that knew her know that she always had a smile on her face and that she loved spending time with her family.

In addition to being a homemaker and taking care of her family; she was also employed by Dresser Manufacturing for several years prior to working at the Bradford Hospital where she retired from in 1992.

She is survived by six children, Michael Auteri, Gino Auteri, John (Lisa) Auteri, Christine (Randy) Henderson, Ann Auteri and Joe (Jami) Auteri; ten grandchildren, Erin Auteri, Gina Auteri, Georgie Auteri, Olivia Auteri, Kyle Auteri, Brianna Auteri, Nick Petree, Caleb Henderson, Jared Auteri and Drew Auteri; three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.

A Memorial Service to be announced at a later date will be held at the convenience of the family.
