Kimberly K. Burdick
Kimberly K. Burdick, 68, of Bolivar, formerly of Richburg, passed away in her home on Saturday, March 8, 2025, after a period of declining health.
Born on Tuesday, November 20, 1956, in Cuba, NY, she was a daughter of Harl and Angela Rosenheur Burdick.
Kimberly was a graduate of Richburg High School, Class of 1974 and later received her Associate’s Degree in Mathematics from Jamestown Community College. She also graduated from BOCES in Belmont as a LPN.
Kim worked at Cuba Memorial Hospital as a nurse and later worked at Trans AM Ambulance Service as an advanced EMT. Lastly she worked at Shop N Save in Bolivar.
Kim was a member of the First Baptist Church in Shinglehouse and was a member of the Richburg Volunteer Fire Department. Her greatest love was her family, especially her great-grandsons, Jackson and Micah.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Rebeccah L. (John Terry) Haug of St. Thomas, PA; three granddaughters, Tiffany N. (Jeffrey) Denmark, Jr. of Brockport, NY, Erynn R. (Caleb James) Dickerson of Roulette, PA and Johanna M. Dickerson of Shinglehouse, PA; her two great-grandsons, Jackson and Micah; a devoted ex-son-in-law, Adam Dickerson of Shinglehouse, PA; a brother, R. Curt Burdick of Bolivar; three sisters, Nora Little of Canisteo, NY, Sharon (Ken) Hackett of Wellsville, NY, and Donna (Dave) Bowman of Allegany, NY; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Kim was predeceased by a son Jeremiah “Jere” Haug who passed away on February 19, 2022; two brothers, Henry Burdick and Greg Burdick; and a sister, Angela “Joni” Stives.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a Celebration of Life for Kim at 12 noon on Friday, March 14, 2025, at the Shinglehouse Volunteer Fire Department, Puritan Street, Shinglehouse, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Kim’s name may be made to a food bank of the donor’s choice.
Kimberly’s family has entrusted her care and cremation arrangements to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse, PA.
