Brandon J. Yetzer, 34, of 120 Reserve Road, St. Marys, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Penn Highlands Elk.He was born June 20, 1990, in Ridgway, son of Jeffrey and Deborah Yeager Yetzer. He was a graduate of St. Marys Area High School, Class of 2008. Brandon loved his time playing Little League Baseball, JO Wrestling, Peewee Football, and racing dirt bikes. When he wasn’t playing organized sports, he could be found playing outside with his neighbors, cousins, and siblings. His favorite pastime, however was looking for another 27 ½ inch lake trout at the spillway at East Branch Dam.
In addition to his loving parents, Brandon is survived by his siblings: Roger Yetzer of St. Marys, Christopher Yetzer of St. Marys, Natalie Yetzer of St. Marys, and Stephanie Yetzer (Cody Baker) of Ridgway; maternal grandmother, Irene Yeager of St. Marys; maternal grandfather, Roger Yeager (Barb) of St. Marys; aunts, Cindy Johnson of New Jersey and Jo Ann Anderson of St. Marys; uncles, James Yetzer, Jr. of Florida and Richard Yeager (Kathy) of St. Marys; special Auntie, Mary Alice Krieg (Jeff) of Ridgway; nieces and nephews: Alexa, Charlotte, Elon, and Aleigha; and cousins: Stephen, D.J., Emily, Melissa, Tim, Janie, and Josh.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James and June Yetzer, Sr., great-grandparents, Albert and Mary Hassenetter, Richard and Neoma Yeager; and his uncles, Kenneth Anderson and John Yeager (Peggy).
Brandon always had a youthful spirit and brought a smile to the face of each person he encountered. He never passed up the opportunity to have a catch with his dad in the Armory Lot or tinker with repairs around the house. He cherished his time to play with his nieces and nephews as well as the time spent with his dog, Frank. He was often playing badminton, swimming, or coloring with them or rope run with Frank. He will be greatly missed.
There will be no visitation.
A funeral service for Brandon will be held privately by his family.
