John V. Reed II, age 71, formerly of Wellsboro, PA, died on Saturday, February 15, 2025.

He was born on March 29, 1953 in Homer City, PA a son of the late John V. Reed and Natalie (Schierer) Reed and was married to Sherry M. (Jones) Reed. John was an Operating Engineer for over 50 years and enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycles and traveling. He most loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife: Sherry Reed of Bradenton, FL, sons: Luke Wilcox of FL, Trent Wilcox of FL, John Reed III of Wellsboro, PA, daughter: Elizabeth (David) Kidd of Westfield, PA, sister: Mary (Ed) Seybert of FL, grandchildren: Devlin Kidd and Jaxson Gross and many loving nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his sister Cynthia Morris.
