City of Bradford Police Department Press Release On July 18th, 2024, the City of Bradford Police Department responded to a reported theft of funds from Allegheny Store Fixtures, located at 57 Holley Avenue in the City of Bradford. Following a thorough investigation, it was determined that a 30-year-old female employee, Lisa Marie Thomas, had fraudulently produced, forged, and cashed company checks without authorization, resulting in a total loss of just under $30,000. During the investigation, officers learned that Thomas had fled to Michigan.
Through collaborative efforts with Michigan Law Enforcement, Thomas was apprehended and extradited back to McKean County. Thomas was subsequently arraigned and remanded to McKean County Jail on $50,000 cash bail. Preliminary Hearings are currently set in the matter. All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The City of Bradford Police Department would like to thank the public for their cooperation and assistance in this investigation.
