Pete Mealey, 69, of 48 Derrick Road, Bradford, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025, at The Pavilion at BRMC.

Born February 2, 1956, in Bradford, he was a son of Marion (Brown) Mealey, of Bradford and the late Gerald “Tucker” Mealey.

He was a 1974 graduate of Bradford High School.

Pete had been employed as a groundskeeper for the Dorn Family, and later at Bradford Laundry for many years.

He enjoyed hunting, reading, and photography. He loved doing anything he could to help friends and others, but especially his family. He also had a fondness for his dog Tasha.

Surviving in addition to his mother Marion, are two sisters, Elizabeth (Randy) Ekdahl, of Bradford, and Peggy (Tony) Revetti, of Salamanca, NY, three brothers, Calvin (Cheryl) Mealey, of Cambridge Springs, Timothy Mealey, of Bradford, Bill Mealey, of NC, and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, and cousins.

Pete was preceded in death by his father, and one sister Susan Barbee.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc. and the services are private for the family. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park
