Thomas Gearhart, 70, of 5th Lane, Kane, passed away Sunday (Dec. 22) at his residence.  Born July 7, 1954 in Reading,PA, he is the son of the late William and Maria (Lang) Gearhart.  On Oct. 31, 1972 in Leesport, he married Maggie McDonald, who survives.

Tom had worked maintenance at Exide Tech for many years.  He was an avid hunter and was a member of the Hunting Fool, the Sheep Foundation and the Mt. Jewett Sportsman Club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son Duane Gearhart of Boyerstown, a grandson Michael Gearhart and two granddaughters, Emily and Becky Gearhart.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
