Ann M. Wehler, 83, of 160 Margaret Road, St. Marys, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 22, 2024 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
She was born May 30, 1941 in St. Marys, daughter of the late Charles and Genevieve Rigard Weichman. She was a lifelong resident of the area, a graduate of Central Catholic High School, and took great pride in her work at Pinecrest Manor, where she was a cook.
On March 18, 1988, in St. Marys, Ann married the late James Wehler, who preceded her in death on December 9, 1996.
Ann is survived by her two daughters: Lisa Kaveney (William) and Barbara Himes (Rodney); three grandchildren: Ashley Puncheon (Greg), Zachary Kaveney, and Danielle Miles (Mike); five great-grandchildren: Chace and Camden Puncheon and Olivia, Lenora, and Harper Miles; her sister, Jean Becquet (Dave); two brothers: David Weichman (Dorothy) and Michael Weichman; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Ann was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Weichman.
Ann was a faithful Catholic who put God and family above all else. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and had an unwavering love for her late husband, James. She enjoyed her sports, particularly the New York Yankees and her Buffalo Bills. Her support for her teams was evident throughout her house that also paid tribute to her favorite musician, Elvis Presley.
A funeral service will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Friday, December 27, 2024 at 11:00AM, with Rev. Thomas Curry, O.S.B., celebrating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Friday, December 27, 2024 from 9:30AM until the time of service.
