Peter G. Frederick, 71, of 1434 Summit Road, Rew, passed away Saturday November 30, 2024, surrounded by his loving family at the Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born April 18, 1953, in Bradford, he was a son of the late Leonard Frederick and Eva Mae (Platko) Burns.

Pete was a 1971 graduate of Bradford Area High School. After graduation he would go on to work for Coca Cola in Bradford. He owned and operated Pete’s T&A for many years. Over the years he also worked at Case Cutlery, Miles Bradford, Snap-On, Universal Well Services. His last 15 years he owned and operated HandyMan Services in the Bradford and surrounding area.
 
Pete was a proud member of the NRA, a blood donor, and Vice President of the Rew Water Association. He also loved racing stock cars, attending racetracks, hunting, and spending time with his children.

Surviving are two daughters, Julie (Jr. Frazier) Frederick of Rew, and Lisa (Tony) Hoch of Smethport, one son, David Joseph Frederick of Bradford, the mother of his children, Jerrie Ellen (Burrnett) Strang, of Bradford, eight grandchildren, Tyler Carlson, Samantha Coulter, Brandi Lyn Mealy, Ashley Hitchcock, Jesse Taylor and Sierra Taylor, five great-grandchildren, two sisters, Judy Dietz of Olean, and Jan Wright of New York, three brothers, Milton Frederick of Bradford, Charles “Skip” (Helen) Frederick of Lewis Run and Leonard Frederick Jr., of Bradford.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 3-5 pm and 7 to 9 PM or in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 South Ave., where funeral service will be held on Friday, at 11:00 AM with Rev. Max Simms, Pastor of the Hilltop Baptist Church, officiating.

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the NRA, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
