Barbara A. Kellogg “beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister”
Barbara A. “Barb” Kellogg, 75, of Coudersport, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024, in Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport, after a long illness.
Born on Wednesday, December 29, 1948 in Hornell, NY, she was a daughter of Dean M. and June H. Clark Kellogg. On April 13, 1991 in Olean, NY, she married Joseph M. Hughes, Sr., who survives.
Barb graduated from high school in Ohio. She and her husband owned and operated the Angelica Sunoco Service Station in Angelica, NY and the Nunda Sunoco Service Station in Nunda, NY. She later was employed by Walmart in Olean, NY.
Barb was of the Christian faith having last attended a Baptist Church. She enjoyed camping, gardening, and cooking. She enjoyed and loved her many animals throughout the years. Her greatest love was spending time with her family.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 30 years; three sons, Lenny D. (Sharon) Hahn of Clarksville, TN, Brian W. Hahn of Freedom, NY, and Abel M. Santiesteban of Olean, NY; a stepson, Joseph M. Hughes, Jr. of Eldred; two grandsons, Steven W. Hahn and Zack M. Hahn; two sisters, Julie C. Kellogg and Sandra G. (Dennis) Thomas, both of Lawrenceville, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Barb was predeceased by a son, Scott W. Hahn; a brother, Larry Dean Kellogg.
In keeping with Barb’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or services.

Barb’s husband entrusted her care and cremation arrangements to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
