Connie A. Crown “faithful servant of the Lord”
COUDERSPORT, PA—Connie A. Crown, 63, a lifelong resident of Coudersport, left the loving care of her family in her home and passed into the arms of the Lord on Friday, November 1, 2024, after a long illness.
Born on Saturday, April 1, 1961 in Port Allegany, she was a daughter of Edith Stewart Clark. On June 16, 1979 in Port Allegany, she married Bill F. Crown, who survives.
Connie was a graduate of Coudersport High School. She was a loving caregiver to her neighbors and church family who needed assistance.
She was a member of the Coudersport Free Methodist Church, where she faithfully served as treasurer and in various other roles. Connie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening. Her greatest loves were serving the Lord and her family.
Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 45 years; a daughter, Melony R. (Allan) Derksen of Alberta, Canada; two grandchildren, Taylor L. Derksen and TJ Derksen; a sister, Carolyn S. Moore of Coudersport; a brother, Randy R. Hauss of Emporium; and several nieces and nephews.
Connie was predeceased by her mother.
Family and friends may call from 9am to 11am on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at God’s Country Ministries, 1237 E. Second Street (Rt 6E), Coudersport where funeral services will follow at 11am with Pastor Dan Brehm, officiating. Burial will be in Sweden Hill Cemetery, Coudersport.

Connie’s family entrusted her care to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
