Gustave W. “Gus” Wolf, 86, formerly of St. Marys and Allison Park, PA, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024, in Gibsonia, PA, following an illness of the past few months
He was born on March 21, 1938 in St. Marys, a son of the late Gustave J. and Helen E. Valentine Wolf.

Gus was a graduate of St. Vincent College and received his Master’s degree from Penn State University. He worked at St. Marys Area High School and St. Francis College as a German teacher and later worked as a Special Needs Counselor for the Allegheny County Intermediate Unit 5. He was a member of the St. Marys Elks Club.  He also worked for Allegheny County as a Nursing Home Ombudsman. In his free time, Gus enjoyed golfing, bowling, cooking and beach vacations.

He is survived by one brother; Thomas E. Wolf of Greensburg. 

A Mass of Christian Burial for Gustave W. Wolf will be celebrated on Friday, October 11, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Queen of the World Church, 134 Queens Road, St. Marys, PA 15857 with Fr. Jeffery Noble, Pastor, as celebrant.

Burial will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
