Pamela J. BODO, 76, of Ulysses, PA, died Wednesday, August 19, 2026 in her home. Born April 27, 1950, in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of Paul Richmond and Jeanne Fearon Westfall. She was married to Bartholomew Bodo, III, who survives.
A graduate of Riverside High School in Buffalo, she was employed as a nanny in New York City and worked at Lipton Tea in Flemington, NJ. After Lipton Tea closed, she went to Allentown Business School and earned an associate’s degree in Secretarial Science Administrative and Clinical Specialist. She was employed in a pulmonologist’s office in Flemington and served as an EMT with Kingwood Township Rescue Squad in Frenchtown, NJ, and Tri-Town Ambulance Association in Ulysses, where she was ambulance chief for 15 years. Pam was a member of Tri-Town Volunteer Fire Company, Tri-Town Volunteer Ambulance, Ulysses Area Improvement Association, and Carl E. Hyde American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving besides her husband, Bart, are: three stepchildren, Jessica Bodo of Manville, NJ, Jamie (Amy) Bodo of Saltville, VA, Jennifer Bodo of Milford, NJ; four grandchildren; a sister, Sandra Robel of West Falls, NY; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a stepdaughter, Jacqueline Bodo; a brother, Bruce Westfall; and a sister, Paula George.

Kathryn M. “Katie”Kilhoffer, 95, of St. Marys, passed away peacefully at Elk Haven Nursing Home on Friday, August 21, 2026.
She was born on March 15, 1931 in St. Marys, PA, a daughter of the late Flavius and Elizabeth Grotzinger Wicks.
On June 27, 1953, she married the late Bernard “Bernie” Kilhoffer, who preceded her in death on August 16, 2014. Together they shared more than 61 years of love and laughter.
Katie was a graduate of Central High School and a faithful member of Queen of the World Church. She retired from IPM after many years of dedicated service. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting and traveling, always appreciating the opportunity to see new places and make special memories along the way. She especially looked forward to trips to the casino, where she loved trying her luck playing bingo. She also enjoyed going to dances and spending time in the company of others. Her many interests brought her much happiness throughout her life, and the memories she made along the way will be fondly remembered by those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by three children, Catherine “Cathy” Nesbitt and her husband Keith “Duke”, of St. Marys, Bernard “Butch” Kilhoffer of Ridgway, and Richard “Rick” Kilhoffer and his wife Ellie of Ridgway and by six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and by one great-great grandchild.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by three siblings; John Wicks, Flavius Wicks, and Mary Samick.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Kathryn M. Kilhoffer will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Queen of the World Church, 134 Queens Road, St. Marys, PA 15857 with Fr. Jeffery Noble, Pastor, as celebrant.
Burial will follow in St. Leo’s Cemetery in Ridgway.
Family and friends will be received at the Queen of the World Church on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 from 9:30 AM until the time of the Mass.

William R. CAMPBELL, 79, of Galeton, PA, died Friday, August 21, 2026 in the Comfort House of Allegany County, Wellsville, NY. Born December 13, 1946, in Coudersport, he was the son of Oliver and Elizabeth Van Steamburg Campbell. On July 29, 1972, in Galeton, he married Janet L. Clark, who predeceased him on August 6, 1987. On September 10, 1992, in Gaines, PA, he married Lynne Grove, who survives.
A 1964 graduate of Galeton Area High School, he served honorably with the U.S. Army National Guard. Bill owned and operated Campbell Trucking, Inc. in Galeton from May 13, 1985 until his death. Bill loved snowmobiling, dirt track racing, 50’s music, and casino hopping. He enjoyed going to coffee at the Ox Yoke and Plaza Café. In the last ten years, he enjoyed many trips out west and took each of his grandchildren to Disney World.
Surviving besides his wife, Lynne, are: eight children, Billy (Julie) King of Melbourne, FL, Julie (Anthony) Cimino of Galeton, Lisa (Michael) Glatfelter of Manchester, Michael (Leslie) Campbell of Galeton, Justin (Nicole) Campbell of Coudersport, Julie Marie (Daniel) Hurlbert of Colorado Springs, CO, Michelle (Jared) McCutcheon of Coudersport, and Brian (Rachel) Campbell of Clarence Center, NY; 17 grandchildren; a brother, John (Brenda) Campbell of Galeton; a sister, Nancy Campbell of Galeton; nieces and nephews. Dolores B. “Tootie” Detsch, 93, of St. Marys, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Elk Haven Nursing Home on Friday, August 21, 2026, following a legthy illness.
She was born on June 29, 1933 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Urban and Gertrude Samick Hoffman.
On August 29, 1953, she married the late Leo F. Detsch, who preceded her in death on December 1, 1990. Together they were blessed with more than 37 years of marriage.
Tootie took great pride in her home and could often be found keeping things neat and tidy or outside making sure her lawn looked just right. She never passed up the chance to find a treasure at a good garage sale and loved going shopping, although the shopping itself was often secondary to the opportunity to run into friends, visit, and catch up along the way. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved making those around her laugh, bringing plenty of smiles and laughter wherever she went. Music was another great love of hers, especially old country music, and she also enjoyed spending an afternoon at a baseball game. Above all, she cherished the people in her life, and her humor, smile, and loving presence will be deeply missed by her family and all those fortunate enough to know and love her.
She is survived by five children; Deborah (David) Kerner of St. Marys, Steven (Cindy) Detsch of Kersey, Bruce (Raney Jones) Detsch of Kersey, Don Detsch of St. Marys, and Doug (Stephanie Shields) Detsch of St. Marys, and by her nine grandchildren; Scott (Jenn) Kerner, Jennifer (Gerald Fields) Kerner, Chelsea (Michael) Strathen, Frank Detsch, Devyn Detsch (United States Navy), John (Jill) Flynn, Chi (Kurt) Catalone, Brian (Lally) Detsch, Cody (Ashley) Detsch, Michael Carr, Nathan Carr, and Gina Hershelroath as well as by numerous great, and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by three siblings; Marlene Dezanet, Richard “Dick” (Diane) Hoffman, and Herbert (Rose) Hoffman, all of St. Marys, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her son; Jeffrey “Buck” Detsch in 2009, by a brother; Edward Detsch, and by one sister; Alice Walker.

OLEAN, NY—-Linda P. Kellogg, 83, a lifelong resident of Olean, passed away in her home on Sunday, August 16, 2026.
Born on Thursday, October 1, 1942 in Eldred Township, PA, she was a daughter of Karl C. and Gladys M. Pratt Kellogg.
Linda was a graduate of Portville Central High School in Portville. She was employed at the former Westons Shopping Center. For most of her working career, Linda was employed as a switchboard operator/receptionist at the Olean General Hospital in Olean, retiring after many years of service.
Linda enjoyed watching television.
Surviving are her brother, Gary D. Kellogg of Olean; a nephew, Jason G. Kellogg of Simpsonville, SC; two grandnephews, Dakoda Kellogg and Lucas Kellogg, both of Michigan.
In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by a brother, Calvin J. Kellogg.
In keeping with Linda’s wishes, there will be no services. She will be laid to rest in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Shinglehouse, PA with her beloved mother and brother.

New Program Supports Energy Efficiency and Community Revitalization in McKean and Potter Counties
McKean and Potter Counties– The PA Route 6 Alliance, in partnership with the West Penn Energy Fund (WPEF), is pleased to announce the launch of the PA Route 6 Energy Mini Grant Program, made possible through a generous grant from the West Penn Energy Fund with additional support provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR).

George Robert “Mac” GRANT, 83, of Ulysses, PA, died August 3, 2026. Bennie L. LONG Jr., 83, of Galeton, PA, died Wednesday, August 19, 2026 in Roseview Rehabilitation and Care Center, Williamsport. Born October 10, 1942, in Coudersport, he was the son of Bennie Leroy and Lillian Dora Brosch Long. On June 19, 1965, in Galeton, he married Linda Jean Allen, who survives.
He served honorably with the U.S. Army from 1961 – 1964. At age eight, he began working with his father in stone masonry. At age 16, he did the stone work on the Shinglehouse Library. He worked as a self-employed mason. Following the 1972 flood, he was employed by ISC in Pittsburgh and his first job was building a stone bridge in English Center, replacing the Bailey bridge. Beginning in 1981, he began a partnership in water and wastewater work for 22 years. He was last employed by Lobar, Inc., retiring on his 71st birthday. Through all his career, he worked with his brother-in-law, John “Jump” Allen. Bennie was a member of Valley Alliance Church, Galeton Masonic Lodge and Lewisville Lodge #556 F&AM, and Coudersport Consistory. An outdoorsman, he traveled far and wide to hunt and fish.
Surviving besides his wife, Linda, are: five children, Les (JoAnn) Long of Lillington, NC, Danny (Kathy) Long of Cogan Station, Randy (Carole) Long of Airville, Paul (Tammy) Long of Middlebury Center, and Melinda (Mike) Clark of Galeton; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Lloyd (Becky) Long of Olean; a sister, Betty Kameck of Olean; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two grandchildren, Nichole Elizabeth Long and Devon Michael Long; a brother, David Allen Long; and a sister, Lillian Augustini.

Nancy K. HANES-WATERS, 63, of Whitesville, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, under the care of her amazing Cardiac Team at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester. Born October 4, 1962, in Blossburg, PA, she was the daughter of Warren L. “Gabe” and Ellen L. Uber Hanes. On November 23, 2005, in Andover, she married Richard H. Waters, Jr., who survives.
A 1980 graduate of Northern Potter High School, she earned her nursing degree from Alfred State College. She was a beloved nurse at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital in Coudersport, who was proud of taking care of others as an OR Nurse and then as a Recovery Nurse. Nancy and Richard had just spent just shy of two weeks checking off her bucket list in Alaska with her high school best friend, Laurie Flewellyn Mixter. Nancy was known for her love of baking and cooking meals for others. Her pies were the talk of town. Nancy was an 11-year cancer survivor who lived her journey saying she was not sick, she just had cancer. She never allowed that horrible disease to take her away. She was and always will be a warrior. The challenges she faced head on would leave people speechless. There is one thing true that Nancy would want all of you to know – Live your life your way. Don’t let anyone or anything to hold you back. She fought for her life, leaving this Earth her way.
Surviving besides her husband, Richard, are: her father, Gabe Hanes of Genesee, PA; two children, Samantha (David Shay) Howe of Wellsville and Richie Waters of Whitesville; four grandchildren, Nathaniel “Finn”, Morgaen “Ladybug”, Gracelyn “Hollywood”, and Casyn “Little Red”; her four beloved animals, Tank, Baby Duke, Miss Pissy, and Merly Pearly; four siblings, Patricia (Gene) Seidel of Auburn, PA, Warren (Maureen) Hanes, Jr., Tammy (Jesse) Snyder, and Cora Gehret, all of Genesee; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. For many people, the thought of brain surgery can feel overwhelming. It is natural to have questions: How will the surgeon know where to go? How do they avoid important areas of the brain? What information is used to plan the safest approach?
One tool that helps answer those questions is image-guided surgical navigation. In simple terms, it is a technology that helps neurosurgeons use a patient’s own imaging, such as MRI or CT scans, to better plan and guide surgery. People sometimes compare it to GPS, and while brain surgery is much more complex than following directions in a car, the comparison can help explain the basic idea.

Dominic was born on October 10, 1983, at the Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, VA; the son of John D. and Joann P. Petruzzi. On September 6, 2008, in Turtlepoint, PA, he married Julie R. Sunderland, who survives.
Dominic was a graduate of Smethport Area High School Class of 2002 and entered the U.S. Army that same year. He served in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom where he was awarded the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, and other campaign awards.
Dominic had a deep reverence for the outdoors and was a skilled fly fisherman; establishing his own business, Streamer King Flies, he made a career of tying flies, fly fishing and sharing his knowledge. His signature streamers and flies were shipped and used by anglers around the world. His dedication led him to become an Ambassador for both Norvise and Orvis companies, achieving the role of an Orvis Endorsed Guide.
He was a member of Trout Unlimited, Seneca Chapter, where he served as secretary and president. He also participated in Project Healing Waters, the Mayfly Project, and many other local events; helping others to learn the many benefits of fly tying and fishing.
In addition to his wife, Julie Petruzzi, he is survived by his parents, John D. and Joann P. Petruzzi of Lewis Run, PA; a daughter: Madlynn J. Hinchman of Olean, NY; and a brother: John W. Petruzzi of Palatine, IL.
A memorial service for Dominic will be held on Monday, August 24th at 11 AM at Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc., 105 Main St., Port Allegany, with Pastor Max Simms officiating.

A. Ross Greene, 58, of Friendship, NY and formerly of Crete, IL and Coudersport, PA passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.
Born on April 22, 1968, he was a son of Albert R. Greene Sr. and Margery Glassmire. On April 18, 1998, in Crete, Illinois, he married the love of his life Billie Greene who predeceased him several years ago.
Ross was a truck driver for 30 years. He enjoyed woodworking, reading, metal detecting, and antiques. The life of the party.
He is survived by his mother Margery of Jacksonville, Florida; his step children Allen (Sheila) McGrew of Missouri, Timothy (Debbie) McGrew and Sandy McGrew (Mike Hibbler) both of Illinois; his siblings Lori Greene (Ken Button) of Friendship, Sam Glassmire of Wellsville, Kate (Steve) Roth of Mt. Jewett, Pennsylvania, and Chris Glassmire of Jacksonville, Florida; his grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
