FORSYTHE SENTENCED TO STATE PRISON FOR FIREARM CONVICTION
Aug 24th, 2023 @ 3:18 PM The man convicted of unlawful possession of a firearm in a jury trial last month has been sentenced by a McKean County Judge. Ryan Forsythe has been sentenced to 80 months to 160 months plus one year of supervision. Additional terms include mental health and D&A.
The Judge sentenced Forsythe for crimes of Person not to Possess a Firearm (Felony) and Firearm not to be Carried without a License (Felony). The charges stem from a traffic stop by Trooper Bradley Walters and Trooper Hunter Freer in Bradford Township on July 19, 2022. During the traffic stop, Troopers found a loaded firearm within the vehicle.
FORSYTHE is prohibited by statute from possessing a firearm. Additionally, he possessed the firearm in a vehicle and did not have a concealed carry permit. Because the firearm was loaded, the Commonwealth sought a sentencing enhancement as provided for under the Sentencing Code for loaded firearms due to the increased risk to law enforcement.
The investigation into the firearm led to the arrest of three other people – for crimes including Theft of Firearms, Receiving Stolen Property (Firearms), Possessing Firearm with Obliterated Serial Number, and Possession of Offensive Weapon (sawed-off shotguns), among others.

We apologize for late start today!
Solomon’s paused production this morning so Zito Media could install fiberoptic at our location.
Unfortunately, they didn’t show in their pre-arranged time period and didn’t bother to tell us. Apparently they don’t have the fibre run to this end of Roulette.
We’ve always gotten good service from Zito, but a phone call or message would have been nice!
