Yvonne A. Crawford, 73, a resident of Elk Haven Nursing Home and formerly of 117 Peach Road, St. Marys, passed away Monday, August 26, 2024 at Elk Haven.

She was born May 7, 1951 in Clearfield, daughter of the late William and Evelyn Stock Gillen.

On July 8, 1992, Yvonne married the late Frederick Crawford, who preceded her in death on August 16, 2013.

She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Youndt of Virginia; a sister, Lynnanne Baumgardner of Ohio; and two brothers, William and Randy Gillen both of Pennsylvania.  She is also survived by the staff at Silver Creek Terrace and Elk Haven Nursing Facility that loved and cared for her over the years.  Their love and care has been deeply appreciated.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Terri Ann Haney who passed away on January 20, 1974.

Yvonne, or Vonnie, had a spicy personality and was not afraid to tell you what she thought.  She loved getting her hair done, her nails painted and anything that sparkled.  She also loved wearing seasonal clothing for each holiday and left quite a collection to those at Elk Haven Nursing Home.  She was generous, compassionate, and loved fiercely.  She will be missed.

There will be no visitation.

Funeral services will be held privately by Yvonne’s family.
