It’s time for a Winter Wonderland – Saturday, December 9 from 3-7 p.m.  on the Port Allegany Town Square.  Santa and Mrs Claus will be at Winter Wonderland to chat with the children and pose for pictures.  The Moose Lodge is offering wagon rides, Cinco C’s will have alpacas on the square and the Reins for Rescues will provide horse rides. 

There will be vendors including the Evangelical Covenant Church with free hot chocolate and candy canes.  Food vendors include Charli’s, Eddies on Main, Fox’s, Flammata Pizza and the Moose Lodge. 

The Winter Wonderland is part of a new holiday tradition in Port Allegany, sponsored by the PAWC (Port Allegany Women’s Club) and organized by the Christmas Lighting Committee led by Dotty Anderson. 

Members include Joyce Stehle, Sylvia Cole, Dian Parrish, Sharen Horvath, Anna Fair, Lindsay Isherwood, Lauren Jackson, Jennifer Taylor, Norm and Debby Cox, Joel Anderson, Stacey Kinney and Sherry Main.  This group also organized the Light Up Night on the Square and the Community House Decorating Contest.
