Winter Weather Advisory issued January 18 at 2:50PM EST until January 19 at 1:00PM EST by NWS Buffalo

DESCRIPTION:
* WHAT…Mixed precipitation expected. Total ice accumulations of
up to one tenth of an inch. Lesser ice amounts closer to Lake
Erie where temperatures will stay above freezing. Freezing rain
will spread from southwest to northeast through Thursday
morning. Freezing rain may mix with sleet and snow at times.
Mixed precipitation will changeover to all rain by Thursday
afternoon.
* WHERE…Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Allegany, and Southern Erie
counties.
* WHEN…From 1 AM to 1 PM EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the morning commute.

INSTRUCTIONS: Periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will result in slippery
roads and limited visibilities. Slow down and use caution while
driving.
