William Joseph Pierotti, 83 Of Bradford, PA

With earthly sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of William Joseph Pierotti, 83, who entered heaven into the arms of Jesus on March 19, 2026, at Buffalo General Hospital, Buffalo, NY.
Bill was born on April 30, 1942, in Bradford, Pennsylvania, to Ona (Coder) and Paul Peter Pierotti. As a young man, Bill moved to Michigan to work with his brother -in-law, where it was love at first sight when he saw Judy Wehner walk by the shop. On December 24, 1960, he married the love of his life in Saginaw, Michigan—a union that would span 65 devoted years of love, partnership, and faith.
He was a beloved husband, dedicated father, devoted papa, loyal brother, caring uncle, and to so many in the community, simply “Uncle Bill.” He never met a stranger. He had a gift for conversation, a warm spirit, and a genuine love for people—especially children, who were naturally drawn to his kindness and playful heart and his ability to make a game out of anything.
Bill worked at KOA Speer Electronics, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, and later served as a laborer and foreman on many job sites through Laborers’ Combined Unions Local 836 and 603, from which he retired. His strong work ethic was matched only by his deep commitment to his faith and family.
Together Bill and Judy raised their family in the Christian faith where Bill was an active member of the former Gifford United Methodist Church, where he served as a Sunday school teacher, trustee, and choir member—touching countless young lives along the way. Many fondly remember the pancake suppers and pie socials he helped bring to life. After the church closed, he found fellowship at Hilltop Baptist Church and, in recent years, embraced the loving community of the Free Christian Evangelical Church in Smethport, PA.
Bill had a passion for life’s simple joys. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and a NASCAR enthusiast who attended several races over the years. He was a constant fixture at the local dirt tracks cheering on his nephew Chuck Glick as he raced his stock cars. Winters were spent snowmobiling on his Arctic Cat with family and friends, while summers meant early mornings heading out to garage sales with his wife Judy in search of the next treasured chandelier for his collection. For decades, camping with family and friends was an exciting adventure filled with fun and fellowship, enjoying the calm and serenity of the outdoors. He took great pride in his antique cars, especially his 1978 and 1959 El Camino’s—earning him the nickname “The El Camino Kid.” He and Judy also lovingly restored a 1957 Chevy together.
More than anything, Bill cherished his family. He could always be found cheering on his grandchildren at sporting events, musical concerts, horse and livestock shows, dance recitals, and countless other moments that mattered most. Endless rounds of Rummy and marathon Monopoly games were shared around the dining room table, where “Papa” was eager to defend his champion title. Sunday spaghetti dinners after church were a cherished weekly tradition with families featuring Bill and Judy’s delicious Italian recipes. Bill could be found every morning reading the local newspaper with Ginger, his faithful canine companion, by his side. In his later years, he became a health enthusiast, spending his early morning hours at the local fitness center, later transitioning to his home gym where he continued to be active with consistency and determination until the last months of his life. Bill generously shared his skills and talents in construction as he helped build and remodel the homes of his children and grandchildren, as well as many other construction projects, leaving a lasting impression of hard work and self-reliance. The fall season wasn’t complete without his annual garlic planting that instilled a love for gardening in each of his grandchildren.
Bill is survived by his devoted wife of 65 years, Judy, their four daughters, and their families:
Mary (Jim) Eliason and their son Matthew (Abby Evers) Bleem (children Klohe, Cole, Vivian, and Faye);
Judy (Andy) Barr and their children: Katelyne (Lewie) Siffrinn (children Avia and Nora), Aaron (Trinitie) Barr (children Zyon, Asaiah, and Sayla), Drew (Zoe) Barr (children Shepherd and Daisy), and Emma (Taro) Tanaka;

Holly (Shawn Wetherby) Pierotti and children Makenzie (Derek McClain) Pierotti (son Cohen), Landan (Ella Halquist) Pierotti, Mason Reed, and Brycen Reed.
He is survived by his loving siblings with whom he had a special and close relationship with, Robert (Peg Price) Pierotti of Aiken, PA and Ida Anderson of Bradford, PA as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, his older sister Mary Glick, brother-in-law Jack Glick and brother-in-law Wayne Anderson
Bill leaves behind a beautiful and lasting legacy in his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchild—each one a reflection of the unconditional love he gave so freely.
