WELLSBORO IS CELEBRATING HALLOWEEN NEXT TUESDAY, OCT. 31 WITH A PARADE, COSTUME CONTEST AND TRICK-OR-TREATING
Between 5:30 p.m. and 5:55 p.m. next Tuesday, Oct. 31, the Wellsboro Halloween Parade will form at Packer Park on Queen Street in Wellsboro.
Beginning at 6 p.m. children and adults in costume will walk from Packer Park along Queen Street to Main Street. The parade will end on Main Street at Central Avenue.
In conjunction with the Wellsboro Halloween Parade, Pop’s Culture Shoppe is sponsoring a Costume Contest. Representatives from Pop’s will be at Packer Park with treats (and maybe a few tricks) for parade participants. Judges from Pop’s will award prizes in a variety of costume categories from 5:45 p.m. until the parade starts at 6 p.m. For more information, call 570-723-4263.
Following the parade, families can walk one block to the Wellsboro Fire Station on Pearl Street where candy will be handed out.
Trick-or-treating in Wellsboro Borough will be from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31.
