Tickets are available for the last three concerts of the Wellsboro Community Concert Association’s 76th Season. 

The concerts are: The House of Hamill performing “upcycled Celtic folk and vintage vibes with a modern message” next Saturday, Feb. 15 at 7:30 p.m.; “the award-winning Gaelic supergroup” Dàimh on Saturday, March 15 at 7:30 p.m.; and The EG Kight Trio singing a blend of “country flavored southern fried blues” on Saturday, April 5 at 7:30 p.m.

Each concert is being presented in the Coolidge Theatre at the Deane Center for the Performing Arts at 104 Main Street in Wellsboro.

The House of Hamill concert is being held during Cupid’s Weekend in Wellsboro, which is also next Saturday, Feb. 15. 

Band members Rose Baldino and Brian Buchanan began performing together as a duo in 2014. They each play the fiddle, are vocalists who blend their voices in mesmerizing harmony and are songwriters. Buchanan also plays guitar. 

In 2018, Caroline Browning joined the band. She plays bass, mandolin, and piano and is a backing vocalist.

Whether they’re ripping through a set of original jigs and reels, adding lush three-part harmonies to traditional folk ballads, or cracking up their audiences with amusing stories from the road, the three members of this band put on a show that captivates audiences across the United States.

“Wildfire,” the trio’s most compelling work to date, was released on Aug. 1, 2024. Their album captures the vibrant energy and creativity that have become the hallmarks of a House of Hamill live show.

Featured on “Wildfire” is their strongest and most exciting songwriting, which is filled with lyrical depth, sophisticated vocal and instrumental arrangements, and hooks that are simply irresistible.

If still available by next Saturday, Feb. 15, tickets for The House of Hamill concert will be sold that night beginning at 7:15 p.m. at the ticket booth in the lobby at the Deane Center.
