Virginia Weidow, 83, of Bayard St. in Kane, PA passed away Wednesday (Oct. 4) at the Meadville Medical Center.
Born May 3, 1940 in James City, she is the daughter of the late Russell and Bertha (Chittester) Farnsworth. On April 30, 1962, in James City, she married David Weidow, who preceded her in death.
Ginny worked as a housekeeper for many years and also had been employed by the Highland Group. She was a member of the Living Waters Free Methodist Church and the Kane Eagles FOE 307. She was a past member of the Kane VFW and the Kane Fire Dept. Auxiliary.
She is survived by one daughter, Kelly (Anthony Rowell) Rolfe; three sons, Rick (Heather) Weidow, Tim (Tammy) Weidow and Todd (Cheryl) Weidow; a brother Chuck Farnsworth; a sister-in-law Theresa Farnsworth; a brother-in-law, Hunter Baker and a special friend, Sandy Nelson.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Helen Pardee, Mabel Andrus, Sandy Baker and Norma Farnsworth; six brothers, Arch Farnsworth, Russell Farnsworth Jr., Bob Farnsworth, Tom Farnsworth, Dick Farnsworth and Ronnie Farnsworth; an adopted brother Junior Farnsworth and a son-in-law, Chuck Rolfe Jr.
Friends are invited to attend a viewing at the Cummings Funeral Home on Monday (Oct. 9) from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. A graveside service will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. John Bush Jr. officiating.
