Vincent F. “Vinny” Kronenwetter, 83, formerly of Bona Vista Highway, Wilcox, PA passed away at Pinecrest Manor on Saturday, February 3, 2024 following a lengthy illness.

He was born on July 5, 1940 in St. Marys, PA, a son of the late Vincent J. and Martha Dill Kronenwetter.

On October 23, 1965, he married the late Barbara Secco, who preceded him in death on November 6, 2008. Together they were blessed with more than 43 years of marriage.

Vinny was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War from 1963-1965. He was a member of St. Callistus Church in Kane and worked for more than 44 years at Pure Carbon Company. He was also a member of the K of C in St. Marys. He loved hunting and fishing and could often be found tending to his garden. A friend to all, Vinny loved to stop and chat with the many friends he met in his travels. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by four children; Vincent Kronenwetter of Clarion, Amy (Brian) White of Canada, Cynthia Kronenwetter of Wilcox, and Christopher (Jill) Kronenwetter of Ossineke, MI and by 5 grandchildren, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by a sister; Ann Facchine and a brother; Gerard Kronenwetter.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Vincent F. Kronenwetter will be celebrated on Friday, February 9, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Marys Church, 315 Church St., St. Marys, PA 15857 with Fr. Thomas More Sikora, OSB, as Celebrant.
Military Honors will be accorded by the St. Marys Servicemen’s Burial Detail.

Burial will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 3:00-5:00 PM.

Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Callistus Church in Kane.
