Veryl A. Yetzer Billick, 92, of Ridgway, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Penn Highlands Brookville, following a lengthy illness.

She was born on December 7, 1932, in Ridgway, a daughter of the late Joseph and Kathryn Wilson Papa.

Veryl was a graduate of Ridgway High School and a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church. She worked many years at Quality Components, then worked at the Prothonotary office in the Elk County Courthouse.

Veryl dedicated her life to her family, finding immense joy in the company of her beloved grandchildren. She took great pride in babysitting them, nurturing their spirits and fostering their dreams, all while creating a tapestry of cherished memories that will live on in their hearts.

Veryl is survived by her husband of 26 years, Robert Billick, 3 children: Thomas Yetzer and his wife Joanie of Ithaca, NY, Doug Yetzer and his wife Mary Jo of Ridgway, and Jill Brennen of St. Marys, 4 grandchildren: Lauren (Marc), Andrew (Jeff), Ryan (Morgan), and Dana (Zachary), and 4 greatgrandchildren: Sophia, Max, Henry, and Marcus. She is also survived by a sister, Helen Streich of TX, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Shirley Anderson, Joyce Amacher, and Janice Casolo, and a brother, Joseph Papa.

Funeral Service for Veryl A. Yetzer Billick will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 19 S. Broad Street, Ridgway, PA, 15853, with Pastor Matthew Williams officiating.

Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, at Krise Funeral Home, 130 Center Street, Ridgway, PA, from 9:30 until 10:30.
