Vera H. ROUNDS, 91, formerly of Harrison Valley, PA, died Wednesday, September 25, 2024 in Absolut Care, Painted Post, NY.  

Born May 7, 1933, in Blossburg, she was the daughter of Herbert F. and Rhoda B. English Friske.  On May 28, 1953, in Harrison Valley, she married Harry G. Rounds, who predeceased her on October 23, 1997.  Vera was a member of the Harrison Township Ladies Auxiliary, Harrison Township Volunteer Fire Company, and the Harrison Township Library Board.  

Surviving are: three sons, Philip (Sue) Rounds of Westfield, Paul (Laleen) Rounds of Bradford, NY, and James (Jodi) Rounds of Lindley, NY; a daughter, Judy Rounds of Wellsboro; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.  

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Donna M. White.  A private graveside service will be held in Mills Cemetery.  Rev. Allyn Baker will officiate.  Memorials may be made to Harrison Township Volunteer Fire Company, 112 E. Tannery St., Harrison Valley, PA 16927.
