Travis M. Wehler, 37, of Winchester, VA, and formerly of St. Marys, PA, passed away at the home of his parents on Friday, November 10, 2023 following a brief illness.
Born April 9, 1986, in DuBois, PA, Travis was the son of Richard and Lori Rae Radaelli Wehler, who survive of St. Marys.
Having overcome some obstacles in his younger years, Travis lived in Winchester, VA, for the last 13 years, where he worked as a Project Manager for Fiber Network Services, Inc.
Armed with a contagious smile that could brighten anyone’s day, he never missed an opportunity to share a joke or funny story. When he wasn’t busy making others laugh, Travis loved spending time outdoors, playing disk golf and exploring the beauty of nature.
He also had a knack for fixing things, always ready to lend a helping hand to friends and family. Travis also loved sitting down for a movie, and had a special passion for dogs, which was evident in the way he showered them with love and affection. Above all else, Travis cherished his time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Travis was a source of inspiration and support to his siblings; Justin Wehler of FL, Curtis (Erin) Wehler of Baden, PA, Veronica (David) Sherry of St. Marys, and Amanda (Andrew) Fisher of Pittsburgh. Their memories together will always remain cherished and will be a reminder of the love and joy they shared as a family. He is also survived by his paternal grandmother; Kathleen Wehler of St. Marys and by his significant friend; Nicole Carr of Winchester, VA. He is also survived by his beloved nieces and nephews; Marah Wehler, Spencer Squires, Jaedyn Johnston, Luke Wehler, Cole Wehler, Jake Wehler, Kane Sutton, and Bella Fisher, as well his honorary sisters; Michelle Squires and Heather Sutton. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and Travis’ beloved dog, Zooey.
Travis was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Ronald and Anna Bella Radaelli, his paternal grandfather; Luke Wehler, an uncle; Randy Radaelli, as well as by his beloved dog; Daisy.
To honor Travis’ life and the profound impact he had on those around him, a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 12:00 pm at the Camp Owners, 300 Camp Owners Road, St. Marys, PA 15857.
Friends and family will be received at the Camp Owners on Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.
