Tracy Lynn Scott, born March 23, 1972, beloved daughter of David and Nancy Scott of Canandaigua, NY passed away suddenly Thursday, December 26th, 2024. She was a vibrant and unique spirit, leaving a legacy of love and laughter.

Tracy is survived by her father David Scott of Canandaigua, NY, brother Craig Scott of Bloomfield, CT as well as several cousins and other family members. She is predeceased by her mother Nancy Scott of Canandaigua, NY.

Born with a song in her heart, Tracy always lit up the room. Her love for music was infectious. A karaoke queen, she could captivate any room with her voice and spark a spontaneous sing-along at the drop of a hat. Her performances were as much about sharing happiness and creating memories with friends and family than the music itself.

Beyond her musical talents, Tracy enjoyed cooking and particularly baking. Tracy had a knack for whipping up delicious treats for family and friends out of just about any ingredients.

Tracy also held a deep affection for the beauty and excitement of Canandaigua Lake where she grew up. Many summers were spent basking in the sun, waterskiing, and swimming, her laughter echoing over the water. Tracy was an unmatched talent on water skis, easily getting up on one ski and slaloming all over the lake long after anyone else would have given up from exhaustion. The lake was where she shared cherished moments with those she loved.

Her boundless energy and loving spirit are deeply missed by her family, her friends, and all those who knew her. Tracy leaves behind a legacy of love, her melodies still humming in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her.

There are no plans for services at this time. A celebration of Tracy’s life will be held at a later date for family and friends, inviting all to share a song, a story, or simply bask in the love she left behind.
