EMS WEEK (MCKEAN COUNTY, May 21, 2023):  This week is National EMS Week.  Thank you Paramedics, EMTs, and all emergency treatment providers. 

To say our emergency treatment providers are exceptional is an understatement.  The care McKean County residents receive during emergency medical situations is frequently the difference between life and death and is nothing less than heroic many times.

DA Stephanie Vettenburg Shaffer: “Many crime scenes have been emergency medical scenes and their efforts have saved lives when all hope seemed to have been lost and, at other times, their expertise allowed them to be the lone voice for a crime victim.
