The Potter-McKean Players Perform A Christmas Carol

This December, the Potter-McKean Players will put on its first production in eight years.
Although individual members have been involved in local projects, including re-enactments at the Eliot Ness Fest and hosting acting classes and seminars, the organization has not put on a play since 2017. With only three rehearsals left until they perform A Christmas Carol, the cast and crew are excited to take to the stage again.
For some members, it’s been merely weeks. Three of the Crachit children are current students at CHS, and were on stage for the high school production of No Strings Attached on November 15. For others, it’s been years. Terri Meacham, who is playing the Ghost of Christmas Present, was last on stage in 2000, when she played a Greek maiden in Nero Rules.
This performance of A Christmas Carol will be December 13, 2025 at 7:00pm in the Coudersport Jr/Sr High School auditorium. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students. Children 5 and under are free.
