The 2025 Pennsylvania State 4–H Horse


The show was held October 23rd through the 26th at the Pennsylvania Farm Complex in Harrisburg, PA.
4-H members must first qualify on the county level to compete at the district level and then qualify to state level by placing in the top of their class.
Congratulations to Lucille Rutkowski-Hood, daughter of Michelle Rutkowski and Hank Hood, grand niece of Deborah Rutkowski, and member of Famous Wabbit 4-H Club representing Potter County, by winning the State championship with her AMHR mare “Star Lake My Oh My” in Miniature Horse Driving (8-13).
Lucille was also a finalist with her AQHA mare “Huntin For Paradise” in Western Showmanship (8-11), Western Horsemanship (8-13), and Western Pleasure Horses (8-13).
