Inmate Death At The Elk County Prison
Elk County Coroner Michelle A. Muccio is releasing the following information in regards to a death that occurred in Elk County on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at the Elk County Prison. At approximately 7 AM on Sunday, January 15, 2023, a correctional officer with the Elk County Prison was completing a routine round and was informed that a female inmate was not conscious or breathing. Stevie N. Mann, 32, of Wilcox, PA was pronounced dead at the scene by Elk County Coroner Michelle A. Muccio. The cause and manner of death at this time are pending investigation and information will be released as it becomes available.
