Susan F. Landis, 76, of South St. Marys Street, St. Marys, PA passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 16, 2023.

Born March 30, 1947, in St. Marys, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Frances Drake Landis.  A lifelong resident of the area, Sue was a proud graduate of Elk County Christian High School, Class of 1965, and later earned her Bachelor’s Degree from St. Francis University.

Throughout her life, Sue had a variety of professional roles.  She was a dedicated teacher, secretary, and quality control professional, and was committed to her faith and community.

Sue is lovingly remembered by her son, Ryan Fernan (Courtney) of Brentwood, TN; her cherished grandchildren, Riley and Grady Fernan; her sister, Mary Landis Aiello (Steve); and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her son, Robert J. Fernan (Susan), on March 22, 2021.

There will be no visitation.

Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St. Boniface Church on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. Kevin Holland, Pastor, officiating.  Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
