Steven D. Houben, 54, of 745 Gleason Hollow Road, Portville, NY passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at his home.
Steven was born September 28, 1969, in Olean and was the son of Jack D. and Mary Kay Palumbo Houben.
Steven was a 1987 graduate of Olean High School. He was a hard dedicated worker throughout his life. Steven worked as a distributor for the Buffalo Newspaper for 28 years and was currently working at Dominos Pizza.
Steven enjoyed cars, stock cars, drag racing, and kayaking. He loved music, going to concerts and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. But most of all he loved taking care of his mother. He will be remembered as a super nice guy who always had your back and will help you out no matter what you need.
Steven is survived by; his mother Mary Kay Houben of Olean; 2 sisters, Elizabeth (Michael) Numeracki of Belmont and Lisa R. Houben of Olean; nieces and nephew, Shaw Shearer, Ravyn (Tyler) Cramer and Cydney Graves USAF; 5 great nieces and nephews, Delilah, Ivy, Chevelle, Leinad, and Lincoln; and his faithful and protective companion, Bella the Cane Corso Mastiff.
Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St, on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at which time a funeral service will be held. The Rev. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to any local Veteran Organization in his memory as veterans were very important to Steven and he contributed often.
