Friday, June 14 and Saturday, June 15 – Nature at Night: Bears, 8 PM to 8:45PM

Coming to a Night Sky Program, but arriving early? Join park staff for a family friendly Nature at Night Program! These programs feature fascinating creatures that enjoy the night as much as we do at Cherry Springs. Be bear aware! By learning the resources bears need to be happy and healthy, and ways to stay safe during a bear encounter, you can spend less time worrying about bears and more time enjoying the night sky. 

Friday, June 14 and Saturday, June 15 – Night Sky Tour and Telescopes, 9:15 PM to 11 PM

Experience the wonder of the night sky through a laser-guided tour conducted by park staff. If conditions allow, we’ll take a look through telescopes at some of the key features of the late spring sky.  Hear legends and myths surrounding several constellations. Telescopes available from roughly 10 PM and later. Telescope availability is subject to staff/volunteer availability, weather conditions, and crowd size limitations.
