Sonja Jo POTT, 68, of Ellisburg, PA, passed away Friday, February 7, 2025 in Jones Memorial Hospital, Wellsville, NY.  

Born September 10, 1956, in Huntingdon, she was the beautiful daughter of Clyde A. and Sandra J. Moore Scott.  She was married to her soulmate, Nathaniel J. “Bud” Pott, who predeceased her on February 17, 2000.

A graduate of Manheim Central High School, she was employed by Turkey Hill, Lancaster in purchasing for 15 years and Adelphia in Coudersport for seven years.  She was a member of the Ellisburg Community Club and enjoyed counter cross-stitch, crocheting, and spending time with her family. 

Surviving are: two children, Cara Jo Pott and Nathaniel Jay (Alexandra) Pott; four grandchildren, Atticus Jay Pott, Tegan Jo Pott, Harper Victoria-Grace Pott, and Bryson Tyler Todd; her father, Clyde (Nancy) Scott; a sister, Sharon (Rick) Funk; a brother, Clyde (Krista) Scott, Jr.; two step-brothers, Kerry Helfrick and Ken Helfrick; nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her mother and stepfather, Sandra and Robert Rothermel.
